Tim Evans is a documentary photographer, journalist, and visual artist based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Specializing in editorial and narrative photography, he covers a range of topics from portraits to breaking news while pursuing long-term projects that explore themes of community, resilience, and adaptation in a time defined by extreme social pressures. A desire to better understand the world around him, create meaningful connections, and add nuance to the complexities of modern life guide his approach.

Tim has earned various awards and recognition for his photography. He is a Lucie Awards Discovery of the Year finalist as well as an International Photography Awards Emerging Editorial/Press Photographer of the Year. He has also received numerous grants, including a Pulitzer Center Reporting Grant. His work has been exhibited domestically and internationally.
