Tim Evans is a documentary photographer and visual artist based in Minneapolis, MN. He photographs a range of topics from portraiture to breaking news while pursuing long-term projects that explore themes of community, resilience, and adaptation in a time defined by extreme social and ecological pressures. Tim has earned various awards and recognition for his work, including being named the International Photography Awards Emerging Editorial/Press Photographer of the Year as well as a Lucie Awards Discovery of the Year finalist, and receiving a Pulitzer Center Reporting Grant. His images have also been featured in numerous art and photography exhibitions, both in the US and internationally. A desire to better understand the world around him, create meaningful connections, and add nuance to the complexities of modern life guide his approach to photography.

Tim is a member of the National Press Photographers Association. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
